We are excited to share the first 2025 Activity Report of the Community for Educational Innovation (CEI) — a growing European community of practice hosted within HEInnovate.
Launched to support innovation in and through education, the CEI brings together over 1,300 members from 92 countries, representing all EU Member States and a wide range of profiles: educators, researchers, entrepreneurs, students and policymakers. Together, we explore how education can better equip learners with the skills and mindsets needed for a fast-changing innovation landscape.
Over the first semester of 2025, the CEI has built momentum through:
- Three thematic webinars on entrepreneurial competences in higher education, support services for student entrepreneurship, and entrepreneurial skills and competences throughout life.
- Its first in-person study visit to CFI Barcelona, which gathered educators, policymakers, and innovation leaders from 12 countries for two days of learning and co-creation.
The attached Activity Report provides a snapshot of our membership, activities, and what's coming up next — including new thematic webinars planned for the autumn.

We invite all educators, institutional leaders, and policymakers interested in innovation and entrepreneurship in education to join the CEI and get involved in the upcoming activities.
