Accessibility Statement

I. Accessibility statement for HEInnovate

This website is managed by the European Commission in partnership with the OECD.

It is designed to be used by as many people as possible, including people with disabilities, following the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 level AA.

You should be able to:

  • zoom up to 200% without problems
  • navigate most of the website using just a keyboard
  • navigate most of the website using a modern screen reader and speech recognition software (on your computer or phone)  

II. Compliance status

This website is partially compliant with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 level AA, due to the non-compliances listed below.

III. Non-accessible content

Despite our best efforts to ensure accessibility of this website, there are some limitations, which we are working to address. Please contact us if you encounter an issue not listed below.

  • Some documents in PDF format may not be fully accessible to screen reader users. We are reviewing these documents. We will replace them with accessible versions or alternative formats by July 2026, whenever possible.
  • Some visual elements (e.g. graphs or icons) may not yet have sufficient text alternatives. We plan to fix this by July 2026.
  • Some interactive components may have limited keyboard navigation support. We are addressing these issues and we expect to solve all of them by July 2026.
