HEInnovate 2018 - Thank you for a successful event

The Egg in Brussels played host as higher education professionals, HEInnovate experts, high-level policymakers, business stakeholders, and students came together at HEInnovate 2018 this week to discuss innovation in higher education.

The event was a great success with a lot of healthy debate and a hackathon with students from HEIs across Europe presenting their ideas for hacking higher education. Click to see pictures of the event.

HEInnovate would like to thank all the participants that helped to make HEInnovate 2018 an inspiring and thought-provoking event!

The Rector Magnificus of Maastricht University, Rianne Letschert, set the tone right from that start when she said in the keynote address that, “entrepreneurial doesn’t just mean everyone has to become an entrepreneur, it’s about people taking initiative so they can adapt to the world around them.”

All the participants left with a lot of food for thought for how higher education can adapt to digital disruption. But the discussions and conversations do not have to end with the event.

Please follow us on Twitter @HEInnovate or join the LinkedIn group HEInnovate to continue the discourse.
