Following the summer break, we are resuming the HEInnovate webinar series. The webinars will be held every two weeks on Thursdays. The upcoming webinar series will explore inspiring institutional practices showcased as case studies on the HEInnovate website, continue the discussions on digital transformation of higher education, and put select themes of the recent University-Business Forum in the spotlight by discussing new forms of university-business collaboration through social innovation as well as social inclusion through new mobilities of learning, research and innovation.
The new series gets underway by introducing two institutional examples from Latvia and Serbia. The university representatives will provide insights into their approaches to enhance digitalisation and entrepreneurship support and reflect on the key challenges ahead.
The webinar will take place on Thursday, the 8th October 2020 at 5pm CEST.
The moderated discussion will engage:
- Claudio A. Rivera, Ph.D., an Educator, Writer and Social Innovator. He is the Deputy Dean at RTU Riga Business School and Associate Professor in Leadership. He is also the Director of the University of New York at Buffalo/RBS Bachelor’s Programmes in Business and IT. Claudio will be joined by Paula Elksne, who is a marketing professional and educator, the Assistant Director of Bachelor Programmes at Riga Business School
- Nenad Stajic, MSc, a Senior Associate at Center for Corporate relations, Faculty of Economics, University of Belgrade. Nenad is the Coordinator of Startup Center, Creative Center and Ekof business lab at Faculty of Economics. He is also in charge of managing corporate relations with companies in Serbia, helping to provide the best internships, job opportunities, and internal practical experience for students
