Beyond the Institutional Walls: Partnerships between universities and the local community

Details

This webinar explores how higher education institutions collaborate with non-academic partners to drive knowledge valorisation and foster knowledge-based innovation.

In this session, we will examine the models and practical approaches higher education institutions use to engage with external stakeholders, including government, industry, and civil society. The discussion will highlight how these collaborations enable the translation of academic research and expertise into tangible societal and economic impacts, foster new solutions, and contribute to regional development.

💡 Key topics include:

  • Approaches of university-external stakeholder collaboration for innovation and regional development,
  • Local initiatives to facilitate cross-sector partnerships and innovation,
  • Opportunities and challenges in developing impactful partnerships beyond traditional institutional boundaries.

The webinar will feature three expert presentations, engaging audience Q&A sessions, and an interactive debate to foster active participation.
