ZOOM video conference (click here to register)
Since 2013, HEInnovate, a joint initiative of the European Commission and OECD has been supporting individual higher education institutions and higher education systems to assess and develop their innovative and entrepreneurial potential, as foreseen under the European Strategy for Universities.
This hour-long HEInnovate online webinar will take place on the 5th of December, 2024, at 15.30 CET. It will engage representatives from the University of Tartu and the Université Côte d'Azur to explore how artificial intelligence can be leveraged to enhance teaching and learning and revolutionise higher education institutions.
Speakers will provide insights into how teachers can integrate artificial intelligence into students’ learning experiences, as well as how higher education institutions can support teachers in doing so. This topic aligns with the Digital Transformation and Capability dimension of HEInnovate, which underlines the importance of higher education institutions integrating, optimising and transforming digital technologies to support innovation and entrepreneurship. Artificial intelligence is one of the key digital technologies that higher education institutions are learning to harness and integrate into teaching and learning in order to modernise curricula and train students in the use of AI. Speakers will explore the different strategies that higher education institutions can take to encourage AI in teaching and why this is important.
