
Inga Lapiņa is a Professor and Vice-Dean for Study at Riga Technical University (RTU). She holds a Doctorate in Economics and a Master of Science in Education. Inga has over 25 years of experience in strategic development and management within higher education, as well as in research, quality assessment, and international project management, driven by her mission to foster transformational and impactful change in higher education institutions (HEIs). Passionate about delivering quality education that meets real-world business needs, she encourages creativity, an entrepreneurial spirit, and innovative thinking among students. Strongly believing that out-of-the-box thinking and creativity are crucial for success in both business and life, Inga dedicates her time to developing new study programmes and enhancing the quality of education to contribute her expertise in fostering innovation and entrepreneurship in higher education. Since 2008, Inga has participated in over 30 peer-review expert teams evaluating higher education institutions, study directions, and programmes. With a solid background in quality assurance and entrepreneurial education, she is committed to helping HEIs improve their quality and entrepreneurial capabilities. She is prepared to assist HEIs in embedding a culture of quality in the study process, developing entrepreneurial education, and building university-business partnerships to enhance innovation.
