Having an understanding of the current impact of the entrepreneurial agenda is just one part of the result. Assessment of impact, particularly where comparisons are made externally, provides learning which should be taken on by the HEI for future improvements. The leadership should be committed to reflecting on the outcomes of the assessment of impact on the entrepreneurial and innovative agenda and make results of the impact assessment widely available to all stakeholders.

Learning from the outcomes, reflecting on the results and instigating course corrections to enhance the entrepreneurial agenda are key elements of further developing the institution’s entrepreneurial and innovation activities. To undertake course corrections and foster further changes and improvements, the HEI should also ensure that resources (including funding) are available.
