We are pleased to announce a two-day online training session on 19 - 20 November to provide information and advice on how to make the most of HEInnovate.
About the workshop
The workshop aims to provide information, tools and techniques to maximise the use of HEInnovate.
A total of 35 participants will be selected to:
- Get (more) familiar with and deepen understanding of the HEInnovate tools and useful supporting materials, such as action cards;
- Understand the strategic potential of HEInnovate and develop a strategic view of the implementation of the self-assessment results;
- Use the HEInnovate tools and resources at their own institution, focusing on strategic goals and leadership;
- Exchange and learn from peers: compare experiences and good/bad practices
- Prepare to organise design actions and projects at their own institution and further promote the HEInnovate tool.
The training session will also offer the possibility of international networking with like-minded people, who are interested in advancing their institution's innovative and entrepreneurial nature.
Participants profile
Professionals working for higher education institutions who are interested in learning how to use HEInnovate in their organisation and with their partners. Prior knowledge of HEInnovate is preferable but not necessary; participants should see the possibility to implement ideas at their institution.
Priority will be given to candidates who
- have never attended any “Train the Trainers” workshop
- are linked to one of the 65 European Universities Alliances
- are committed to a long-term strategic use of HEInnovate in their university
The selection process will respect gender, geographical and institutional balance. Owing to the limited number of participants, we can only offer one place per institution in the session.
It is important to describe (see question below) how you plan to use HEInnovate at your higher education institution to ensure its long-term use.
There are only 35 available spots.
Practical information
The session will take place on 19-20 November. The training will be from 9:30 am to 1:30 pm CET on both days (Wednesday, November 19, and Thursday, November 20).
The session will be provided on the platform MS Teams.
A follow-up online session will be held on February 16th, 2026, from 1 – 3 pm.
Registration and participation are free of charge.
