The Community for Educational Innovation (CEI) invites motivated professionals to apply for the CEI Study Visit 2025-II, taking place on 25-26 November 2025 and hosted by St. Pölten University of Applied Sciences.
This immersive, fully funded visit is designed to further equip participants to translate research into impact, bridging the innovation gap in higher education. Drawing from the themes explored in this semester’s CEI webinars, the visit will bring theory into practice through a rich mix of expert keynotes, interactive project development sessions, and peer learning exchanges.
Participants will discuss how to strengthen collaboration between higher education institutions and non-academic stakeholders, institutional support mechanisms, and capacity building to promote knowledge valorisation. The programme will examine strategies for creating innovation-friendly ecosystems and explore the crucial role of regional stakeholders in supporting entrepreneurship. Special attention will be given to supporting researchers in the knowledge valorisation process.
Over the course of 1.5 days, the programme will feature mutual learning exercises, collaborative sessions, and workshops. St. Pölten’s innovation and entrepreneurship ecosystem will serve as a vibrant reference point, offering insight into how local actors, institutions, and start-up ecosystem orchestrators support entrepreneurship in education while building bridges between academic research and business needs.
