Strategist, innovation and science manager, teacher, researcher, mentor and entrepreneur. He is the Executive Director of the Center for Business Innovation at Porto Business School, University of Porto and Professor of Entrepreneurship and Innovation. He was founder and coordinator of Porto Design Factory, at the Polytechnic of Porto (part of Design Factory Global Network and Stanford University Global Alliance for Redesign). He was the scientific coordinator of the "ME310 STANFORD / PORTO" Programme, an Executive Masters in Product and Service Innovation, in partnership with 19 universities from all over the world, where he developed product and service innovation activities with companies such as Ikea Industry, Sonae, Nokia, Generali, Philip Morris International, Ford.

He was also the creator and manager of several start-up acceleration programmes. He is a researcher on Strategic and Organisational Communication, working on topics such as Exponential Organisations, Digital Transformation or the Future of Work.
