Mikkel is an international consultant supporting organisations developing their entrepreneurial potential and societal impact. Mikkel has led the implementation of the EIT Climate-KIC entrepreneurship programmes across the Nordic countries developing a portfolio of +150 high-impact startups, attracting more than EUR 130m in capital. Mikkel founded several entrepreneurial organisation and programmes, including the incubator at Copenhagen University and the award-winning initiative, Copenhagen Innovation and Entrepreneurship Lab (CIEL).
Mikkel became involved in HEInnovate in 2013 and has held numerous HEInnovate workshops, talks and train-the-trainer sessions all over Europe since. Mikkel is a long-term member of the HEInnovate expert group, and he is a certified Climate Impact Forecasting trainer (https://impact-forecast.com/). He has unique experience in entrepreneurial leadership, organisational development, entrepreneurial teaching, supporting entrepreneurs and measuring impact. Mikkel has a genuine passion for supporting breakthrough innovation with scalable impact and he has completed several executive programmes including the Entrepreneurial University Leaders Program at Oxford University.
